Rebuilt by the Italian Navy in 1933 at Cantieri del Tirreno di Genova for a good 60% from the original 1920 building, with a new bow that "hooded" the old one, this is the ship which has linked its name to the Punta Stilo naval clash in the Second World War during which he was affected (albeit non-severe) by a 381 mm bullet fired from the British battleship Warspite.
The assembly Kit
Finally the kit 1:160 scale of "Julius Caesar" series "Battle Ships of the Second World War" with about 350 details.
The hull is made of fiberglass cloth to four layers with the hand already given "primer" and the relevant rudders, shafts, propellers and engines with support.
The upper decks, the guns and all the details are in resin to make easy to work with every detail and increase the accuracy of reproduction.

The bridge deck and bridge of the castle are of pre-cut plywood (just finishing) and covering the deck you are running with strips of lime 0.5x3 mm included in the kit.
The trees above and some details are made of brass and copper (a few to be built in accordance with the instructions contained in it).
It contains about 350 photographs and step by step guide to build the model. Every part of the description refers to photos in order to join the explanation for an easy visual guide.
The 1:160 scale (used for all the kit in the series) was chosen because it is good for portability into cars too small, however, giving a model with an excellent reproduction of detail with the result of a ship finished with quality museum.
The kit does not include batteries (1 from 6 to 8 volts), the internal electronics (speed regulator, receiver, wires and batteries, remote port) and remote (possibly to be requested separately).

The built model
The finished model is a magnificent reproduction of the original. It has a high quality and gives a great emotion to the single vision of this ship that so many memories reawakens in us Italians. Its weight is 5.5 kg while the length is about 1170 mm.
The built model is avaible only on demand and delivered after about three months.
